Bulk Import Students

Supported file format: CSV. Please convert all your files into .CSV format before attempting to import data in your Campus 365 platform.

There are 3 important things that you'd need to know about when you import students from a .CSV file. They are described in detail below:
  1. Preparing your CSV file
  2. Importing the file
  3. Reasons for failure of data import

1. Preparing your CSV file
Make sure that your CSV file's header row has columns that can be mapped to the fields. You can also download the sample CSV file from the import students data page by clicking on the Download Sample Import file.

The file shouldn't be larger than 5MB.

2. Importing the file

Once you’ve prepared the CSV file with all the information, navigate to  Student Information > Student Admission > Import Students
Select the  Course/Class and  Batch/Section in which you want to import the student's data, select the prepared  CSV file in the above step and click on  upload button to upload all the data into the platform.

Important note: While importing students information in bulk, you will need to enter the unique student admission number even if the auto-generation of student admission number is enabled.

3. Reasons for failure of data import
If somehow the file fails to upload, the reason, why it failed, will be displayed at the top of the import student’s information page.
